Code Search - upgrade from 2018 version to the 2024 version

The Code Search (CS) version number you currently have is based on the latest version of the IBC code you can select from the program's building code pull down menu. The version is located at the upper left hand corner of the "Title" worksheet.

CS09 (2009 Code Search) only supports the 2009 - 2000 IBC
CS12 (2012 Code Search) supports the 2012 - 2000 IBC
CS15 (2015 Code Search) supports the 2015 - 2000 IBC
CS2018 (2018 Code Search) supports the 2018 - 2000 IBC
CS2021 (2021 Code Search) supports the 2021 - 2000 IBC
CS2024 (2024 Code Search) supports the 2024 - 2000 IBC

Note that single user licenses are no longer available. When upgrading single users will receive the site license, you will no longer be locked to one computer.

To upgrade to the 2024 version and to a multiple office pick both items below.

2018 Code Search user (single computer, site or mult-site)- upgrade to 2024 version
Upgrade from CS18 to CS2024. CS18 - was based on ASCE7 (1998-2016) and 2000-2018 versions of the IBC. CS2024 - is based on ASCE7 (1998-2022) and 2000-2024 versions of the IBC.

2024 Code Search User- upgrade from single office to multiple office license
Upgrade from a single office site license to a license for multiple offices. For this option, you must have a license for the CS2024 version (based on the 2024 & earlier International Building Codes). If not, you must also upgrade to CS2024.
